Misc: This illustration first appeared on the May 1915 cover of Pictorial Review. It was later published the same year as an art print. In those early days of publishing, the images were printed in a single ink color (usually sepia), and hand colorist would add the flesh color tint (and rosy cheeks). The colorists would then tint the ribbons blue if the order was for a couple with twin baby boys, and tint the ribbons pink if the order was for a couple with twin baby girls. We offer that same service, please make a notation in the comments area of the order form as to how you want your print colored.
