Misc: "Falling Out" and "Making Up" were the first of Gutmann's paired prints in 1907. Featuring her nieces, "Falling Out" (originally entitled "Twixt Smile and a Tear") and "Making Up" (originally entitled "Lips That Are for Others") were reissued as postcards in 1909. Bessie signed both images with her maiden name: "Bessie Collins Pease".
